The nearly 30 years of working as a minister and coach, and eight years as a journalist have sharpened Michaels skills in listening to clients. His work leading organizations facing change give him insight to the challenges that small business leaders face in growing their impact and expanding their services. Through strategic planning, he has helped struggling churches and non-profit organizations find new direction and effectiveness in their communities while helping individuals discover personal fulfillment.
Michael holds a Certificate in Christian Leadership Coaching (CCLC) and is trained through an International Coaching Federations Approved Site for Training Coach Hours (ASTCH) with CAM (Coach Approach Ministries). A member of ICF, he is close to completing his credential as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). He has been married to Vicki for more than 35 years (married at age 5!), and they have two children. More importantly, they welcomed their first grandchild, Callan, last year!
Michael has written news and feature articles, book reviews and curriculum for a variety of publications. He holds a B.S. in Education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and an Master of Divinity from The Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta.
