About Me

Coaching has been a transformative practice in my life. I read lots of books on management and goal setting, but these only made a temporary difference. Coaching worked where other things failed because it taught me to be curious rather than judgmental, I began to see my limiting behaviors that got in my way, instead of blaming my circumstances. I learned to be adaptive rather than let obstacles stop me from moving forward. This is why I believe in coaching. It works for me! My coaching practice is focuses on developing a healthy mindset and finding things you can do immediately to improve your capabilities. I coach people on leadership, productivity, relationships, dealing with major change and transitions. Since 2015, I have coached leaders in a broad range of situations, including government, nonprofit and clergy leaders who want to get past the sticking points in their lives. I have over 25 years of pastoral experience and have helped people with a wide variety of life transitions at all stages of life. I know life can throw us some tough challenges. I have lived with Crohn's Disease for over 20 years, so work-life balance is essential. I also supervised a transitional housing program for eight years for people who had been homeless. Many of them had struggled with addictions, mental health and some had been in prison for years. Our program maintained a 65% success rate in helping people move to self-sufficiency. This experience has made me passionate to help people grow, learn and create a better life. I won't tell you that the change you want is easy, but I do think coaching is the best way I know to help you develop the mindset, habits and energy to move forward. Coaching helps you find steps to take during your very first session and helps you gain momentum. I would be glad to walk beside you as you move towards your best self!
