Bio of Jewel Ray Chaudhuri, Ph.D. Jewel Ray Chaudhuri, Ph.D. is a leadership, life and empowerment coach whose is in helping emerging and seasoned entrepreneurs become leaders at their own businesses and in fully living their lives. She helps her clients move from self-doubt to self-power, overcoming their individual limiting beliefs to becoming impactful in their leadership roles. Jewel believes that leadership is a journey to the soul and coaching helps to facilitate that journey. Jewel earned her Ph.D. in 2005, researching and writing her dissertation on female executives experience of personal and professional power. She received her coach training from Newfield Network in 2006-7 and Right Management and has attended Newfields Advanced Body and Movement Coaching Program (2012). In a coaching session, Jewel draws upon the wisdom of the body and a persons way of being as reflected in body movement, language and emotion to bring about transformative results. . Jewel is presently the president and founder of Power-Coeur Coaching. In March of 2017, she joined Exoteric as a coach. For over twenty years prior to going out on her own, Jewel was a senior training consultant for New York Life Insurance Company in New York. Before her role in Human resources, Jewel held positions in the group insurance department of New York Life. As a senior training consultant, Jewel designed and delivered a range of training programs from facilitating AARPs Pre-Retirement Planning Program to designing and being the Program Manager for the Leadership Effectiveness Program, a program for middle managers and corporate officers which she helped to facilitate around the world. Her love of coaching developed while helping these managers develop and bring into fruition concrete actions. Jewel took early retirement in 2003, finished her Ph.D. and established her own coaching and consulting firm. In addition to coaching individual clients, she has designed and presented workshops on learning from the body and her Engaging in Conversations: Lessons from the Argentine Tango has been presented at several venues. Jewel recently presented Innovative Coaching: Learning from the Bodys Wisdom at the International Coach Federation (ICF) Phoenix retreat and a similar program for coaches at the Valley of the Sun United Way. After spending most of her life in Queens, NY, Jewel and her husband took the plunge and moved to Peoria, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. She loves to travel and each year spends time in her apartment in India. A side hobby also developed into a second business as Jewel became a jewelry designer and artist and displays and sells her work at her communitys Art Shows.
