Move Yo-self

 

Have you ever heard getting from the couch to the door is the hardest step?

There is so much truth to this. Sometimes we are all plagued with the old excuses getting in the way.  Sometimes things aren’t 100% ideal.

I invite you to consider that doing something is far better than doing nothing.  Often times when things are not our idea of what is the ideal movement or exercise, we let that stop us, or keep us stuck in stagnation rather than movement.

In my holistic health coaching practice, I am all about helping clients to increase their overall vitality, which I love to have them measure through their energy levels.  Fueling your body with the right foods for your unique body, as well as finding the movement that you enjoy, and begin to crave are keys to raising your vitality.

I love for my clients to operate from a sustainable system that uses their energy as a measurement, and steers clear of a deprivation mindset.

So, finding movement that ignites, and inspires you is key, and even a few different forms to utilize to switch it up and keep it fresh.

In my practice, I will guide you in tapping into your body’s own innate wisdom to fully step into your power and let your best self to shine.

Movement is another kind of food for your body.  It releases stress, makes you feel great and look great.  When you don’t get enough, the body starts to look to other ways to blow off steam, like binging on sugar.

Improved self-esteem is a key psychological benefit of regular physical activity.  When you move yo-self, the body releases endorphins.  These chemicals interact with receptors in your brain, that reduce your perception of pain, and trigger a positive feeling in the body.

 

The feeling post workout is often described as “euphoric,” and can be accompanied by a positive and energizing outlook on life.

  • Wards off anxiety and feelings of depression

  • Boosts self-esteem

  • Improves sleep
