Heart + Start Coaching and Exoteric 10-Step Process Join Forces to Empower Entrepreneurs In Starting Their New Business

By: Jim Wadford in Finding Focus, 3 years ago

Several years ago, I started a new company called Coaching & Consulting International, LLC. The company provides services in three areas: Business & Leadership coaching, Business & Church consulting, and Leadership training. C&CI has served businesses and individuals across the United States for thirteen years now.

I decided in 2013 to take early retirement from my full-time work and to take the next step in expanding my company and fulling my entrepreneurial dream. So, I began to develop a unique brand of coaching called “Heart + Start” coaching. My search for a new model for coaching led me to discover that in the Hebrew language the word for “heart” is leb. This Hebrew word has multiple meanings like the physical organ or the heart of a human or an animal. There is another meaning also in the Hebrew for a heart, which Bruce K. Waitke calls the “center of the hidden Emotional-Intellectual-Moral activity.”¹  The definition of the word, “heart” in Hebrew culture is the physical, mental and spiritual being of a person.

Heart + Start coaching was born out of this concept of thinking and being in a relationship with the person being coached. When coaching in the business or leadership arena with entrepreneurs, it is essential to help them get in touch with their body, mind, and spirit as they explore the many avenues toward their future business startup.

Recently, I joined Exoteric to employ another tool for coaching new business owners, called “The Exoteric 10-Step Coaching Process.”² This is a tool for guiding a new business owner through a self-discovery and development of their business foundation. This process becomes the roadmap that will guide our coaching conversations when we coach entrepreneurs.   “The Exoteric 10-Step Coaching Process is the heart of the unique brand that is the Exoteric coaching experience.”³  I am presently looking for entrepreneurs who desire to set a firm foundation for themselves and their business as they get up and running.
