Transform: Changing from the Inside Out

By: Jonathan Palk 3 years ago
I love this time of year.  Everything is starting to bloom and come to life again.  True transformation is taking place all around us.  Your first thought may be in regards to the flowers and the trees turning bright colors, but I am actually referring to lives being changed.  Look closely and you will be able to see some people you are around every day changing so stop and take notice.

What keeps us from transforming into the very person we are meant to be?  For some, it is fear of failure and for some, it is even the fear of success.  For others, it may be guilt, doubts, and the feeling of not measuring up.  We all have an inner critic that we tend to listen to more than we should.  What will it take for you to break through?  Believe it or not, you are the expert because the answer already lies within you.  It will take courage and will power to finally stand up for yourself, but the end result will be totally worth it.  Stop and close your eyes for a moment.  If you were to wake up tomorrow and your life is exactly the way you wanted it to be.  What does it look like?  What does it feel like?  What do you hear?  If you had to overcome an obstacle or two in your way would it not be worth it for the feeling you just encountered?
What are you waiting for?  Do not put it off another day.  Will ti be hard?  Probably.  Will it take sacrifice?  Some.  Will you finally have peace and content in your life?  YES!!!  Remember a caterpillar must stay in his cocoon the full length of time before becoming a beautiful butterfly.  If it comes out before it is ready it will not survive.  It must struggle along the way, but in the end, the result is a colorful butterfly.  You must endure a similar journey of sacrifice and struggle.  Keep fighting and keep going despite pitfalls along the way because you know in the end the transformation will be worth all the pain you had to endure.
I look forward to looking around and seeing people transforming all around me.  The question is will you be one of those people?
